POC has been at the forefront of protection and helmet technology for a number of years and Auric Cut Backcountry SPIN sets a new standard for on- and off-piste safety for skiers and snowboarders. To deliver within our mission and develop with the help of feedback from our professional athletes and medical experts, POC helmets have been developed with our "whole-helmet" concept at the center of the design process using optimized materials throughout the helmet, such as an advanced EPP -liner that can withstand repetitive stresses and a very robust ABS shell as penetration protection and which ensures helmet strength and integrity. SPIN (Shearing Pad Inside) is our patent-pending silicone technology system that uses innovative materials and designs to complement our "whole-helmet" concept. The helmet also has an integrated RECCO reflector that supports searchability in the wilderness. A size adjustment system offers an excellent and flexible fit, and the adjustable valves on the front and top of the helmet provide adjustable ventilation, for mixed weather conditions or nature walks. The Auric Cut Backcountry SPIN is versatile and is just as good on the piste as it faces various off-piste challenges.
