This year's version has undergone some adjustments in the upper part, which provides increased comfort and an improved fit. The midsole surrounds and stabilizes the foot in an effective way and the rounded SPEEDROLL-inspired construction provides reduced rotational force from insertion to maximum load. This minimizes the impact of pronation on the ankle, which creates gentler conditions for the runner. The construction of the midsole in combination with the 8 mm drop provides a propulsive force that makes running feel easier and faster, and the posture of the body in a more propulsive position. The midsole is made from an upgraded version of PWRRUN, and this is combined with a luxurious and soft insole in Saucony's best PWRRUN+ material. This provides, in addition to the market's best shock-absorbing insole, a more energy-filled and softer shock absorption even closer to the foot. The unique FORMFIT fit creates an optimal and individually enveloping fit around the entire foot. The top of the midsole is anatomically foot-shaped to cradle the foot and provide better support around the heel and arch. From above, the foot is hugged in a comfortable and stable way with the help of a raised edge from the midsole, and a formable, seamless and well-ventilated mesh, which is combined with stabilizing 3D structure around the midfoot. The upper also consists of recycled material, to reduce our ecological footprint. The outer sole in durable XT900 rubber is optimized for low weight, stability and good grip.
