The entire upper of the shoe is made in one piece and consists of the new MatrYX ® 2.0, the next generation MatrYX that is even more durable and provides even more support. Polyamide fibers are woven together with Kevlar and then reinforced with monofilament fibers. This together provides an incredibly durable material that delivers perfect support for the foot, but with the great advantage that it is still one of the lightest shoe models on the market.
Babolat has improved cushioning in the heel with the new KPRS-X. As the movement pattern in tennis often means that the heel is put in the ground first, Babolat has moved behind the heel cushioning. This means that the heel receives more support in each step and comfort increases.
The insole is made by Babolat's dedicated partner Michelin, experts in tire manufacturing and rubber, and it is now further reinforced for better durability. The front of the rubber sole is divided into 9 zones that provide faster movements and better grip in all directions thanks to the fact that as much of the sole as possible is in constant contact with the ground. The herringbone pattern gives a perfect grip on the paddle court and out on the gravel tennis courts.
