The popular Challenger ATR 7 is built for running on both asphalt and off-road. It is completely redesigned, compared to the 6. It has more cushioning but is also lighter. It has an increased thickness of the sole, 3 mm to be exact. Softer EVA. It is lighter than its predecessor but despite this, the more aggressive studs in the outsole have meant that you get even better grip on the terrain. The studs are cleverly and strategically placed, in groups, for better grip on the terrain. This while not being in the way when you run on the road. The 7 has also got a completely new material in the upper, midsole and outsole. The upper is in solid material with extra reinforcement in the toe box. Even the heel cap has a new technology for a comfortable Achilles construction.
