EnRoute has been developed based on Salming's Natural Running Support System ™, which makes it easier for each runner to find and maintain their natural running step. We wanted to create a real icon, a running shoe that can withstand the test of time, a shoe that you can run in regardless of foot loss or running style. The upper part has been designed so that it merges with the above-mentioned support and stability system. The result is a cohesive unit with excellent support and response. The enclosing upper part consists of four different joined parts that together create a snug feeling and provide very good breathability and a good fit. Fully integrated ExoSkeleton ™ is part of the lacing construction and keeps the foot in place. The tongue is wedge-shaped and fits together with the upper part, which is sewn in 3 layers: a large, airy mesh layer closest to the foot, ExoSkeleton ™ in the middle and a thinner mesh fabric at the far end.
